About me

Well, there’s me and there’s the TV, and we’ve always been such good friends. I love writing, mainly thoughts about movies and TV shows I watch, music, concerts, food, weird events and boring ones too. Somehow I can’t seem to write a simple post without doing some crazy editing and I always end up sounding a lot more formal than I really am.
I DON’T KNOW WHAT TO DO!!! Formality or no, I hope you’ll enjoy my posts. Follows, likes and comments are always warmly welcomed.

  1. My name is Tiffany Brannan. I tagged you in the “Unpopular Opinion Film Tag” in the following article: https://pureentertainmentpreservationsociety.wordpress.com/2017/09/13/the-unpopular-opinion-film-tag-three-films-which-make-me-tired/. I hope you will respond with an interesting article of your own in the series! I look forward to reading what you write. You can look at my article to see details on the tag. By the way, I would like to invite you to join my blogathon, “The Great Breening Blogathon,” which I mention in my article. You can read about it in the following article:https://pureentertainmentpreservationsociety.wordpress.com/2017/09/07/extra-the-great-breening-blogathon/. I hope you will do me the honor of joining. We could really use your talent!

    1. Thank you for tagging me, Tiffany! ^_^
I’m super honored and will definitely contribute my most hated film review. I’m also be joining your blogathon. It’s always a pleasure for me to be asked and write posts for blogathons. I ever so often neglect my blog for the sake of whatever, and blogathons always bring me back to my movie reviewing path and I love it. Anywho, thank you again and I’ll be sending me post very soon. Cheers 🙂

    2. I look forward to reading your “Unpopular Opinion Film Tag” article. Thank you so much for joining my blogathon. I really appreciate it. Do you have any idea what your topic will be? If you do, I will put it on the roster with your name. If not, I will simply list your topic as “To Be Announced.” If you need any suggestions, I would be happy to give you some. By the way, thank you for following my column.

    3. The three categories of the blogathon are breening existing films, writing about your own movie ideas, and writing a tribute about the Code era. You could write about a film you really love from the Breen era, which is 1934 to 1954, putting an emphasis on the fact that it was made great because of the Code. I don’t know exactly what era of movies you like best, but you may enjoy breening a silent, pre-Code, or post-Code film. I have seen more modern films on your website than early ones, so perhaps you would like to breen a Shurlock era film. (The Shurlock era is the time between 1955 and 1968.) Basically, breening means to say how a film could have been cleaner, as if it were made under Mr. Breen’s watch. I will be publishing an article on how to breen on Thursday. If you have a favorite actor about whom you might like to write, I could give you some suggestions about Code films with him you could honor or un-Code films you could breen.

      Yours Hopefully,

    1. Hi Rob, I think you have a little mistake there. The review for The BFG was written by Tom of Shortbread. Unfortunately I wasn’t able to submit my May review. Will participate on the June one, if it’s cool. Thanks 😊
